Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
FlighTV ("we", "us") publishes the FlighTV app on the Apple TV App Store. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@flightv.app.
2. Data we collect
None. We do not operate a backend, we do not ask you to create an account, and the app does not include any third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking software. We cannot identify you and we never receive your list of flights.
3. Data stored on your device
The app keeps the following on your Apple TV only, using Apple's standard app storage. It is removed when you delete the app.
- The flights you have added (airline, flight number, date, route) and favourite airlines.
- Your preferences: units, map centering, weather radar and tropical cyclone toggles, and which notable aircraft you follow.
- If you use TripIt import, the private TripIt calendar link you pasted, so the app can refresh it.
- If you use area watch, the ZIP code you entered.
- A count of flights added, used to enforce the free tier limit.
This information is not synced to us. It may be included in your Apple TV's iCloud backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
4. Network requests the app makes
To show flight information the app contacts the following services directly from your Apple TV. Like any internet request these disclose your device's IP address to the service. No name, email, account identifier or advertising identifier is sent.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not control them and they do not receive any identity information from FlighTV.
5. Purchases
Any in-app purchases or subscriptions are sold through Apple. Apple handles payment, billing and refunds; we never see your payment details. The app checks your subscription status with Apple's StoreKit on the device. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
6. TestFlight and App Store diagnostics
If you install a beta through TestFlight, or opt in to sharing analytics with developers in your Apple settings, Apple may provide us with crash logs and aggregate usage statistics. These are anonymised by Apple and we use them only to fix bugs.
7. Children
FlighTV is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
8. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. To remove everything the app stores, delete it from your Apple TV. If you believe we hold data about you, or have any question under GDPR, CCPA or similar laws, contact support@flightv.app.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
